Like many Amouage fragrances, Crimson Rocks is directly inspired by Oman. Especially the jaw-dropping scene of the late April sun illuminating the mountains of Al Hajar when the last rays of the day cascade down onto the mountainside to reveal a vibrant and heated red hue.

Expert Perfumer, Domitille Michalon-Bertier, wants to pay homage to this sight by creating and perfecting two innovative rose extractions, which are revealed in the top and built up in the heart of the fragrance. She has cleverly explained her use of cinnamon essential, which she has deemed to "smell red" in her mind before the Eau de Parfum wraps up in heady and addictive rich, woody notes.
